A group of ViVoLab researchers is participating in the JSALT 2023 summer workshop. During 6 weeks different teams work in close proximity on some challenging problems related to speech and language engineering. ViVoLab researchers are involved in the «Explainable diarization» team that aims to provide explainable decision for speech processing systems. In addition to generate impactful research on the human language technology community, the workshop promotes interaction with other researchers, seeding new and lasting collaborations.
In 2023, for its 30th edition, the workshop is being held in Le Mans, France from June 26th to August 4th, co-hosted by the LIUM (Laboratoire Informatique de l’Université du Mans) and Allo-Media.
