      We are thrilled to announce our upcoming seventh edition in a series of RTTH Schools. This time, in a format of a Fall School, it will be devoted to the topic of\u00a0“Speech Technologies for Daily Life: Voice Assistants, Chatbots, and Spoken Dialogue Systems”.<\/strong> A 4-day intensive course to be held on November 14th-17th in Jaca (Huesca, Spain).<\/p>\n

      \n* Speech in Spoken Dialogue Systems
      \n* Automatic Dialogue Evaluation for Conversational Systems and Understanding ChatGPT: Technology, Trends, and Challenges for Conversational Systems<\/p>\n

      By the end of the school, participants will have gained valuable insights and practical skills to develop and deploy their own speech-enabled applications, enabling them to leverage the power of speech technologies for various domains such as smart homes, healthcare, customer service, and more.
      \nThe school is open to all Master&PhD-students, researchers, and professionals interested in learning and refreshing their knowledge on conversational systems.\u00a0Participants will have the opportunity to present their work in a special oral session and receive feedback from the experts.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Our distinguished lineup of RTTH lectures includes\u00a0Mar\u00eda In\u00e9s Torres Bara\u00f1ano<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Javier Mikel Olaso Fernandez<\/a>\u00a0from Universidad Pa\u00eds Vasco,\u00a0Zoraida Callejas<\/a>\u00a0from Universidad de Granada, and\u00a0Luis Fernando D’Haro Enr\u00edquez<\/a>\u00a0from Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid. The keynote will be by Prof. Hermann Ney about “Data-driven speech and language technology: from small to large models”<\/p>\n
